Origin[]
While working on research with insects, Dr. Norwood attempted to discover a way to use insects for military, medical and numerous other purposes. He soon managed to create a mutagenic formula for human neural chemistry to allow telepathic communication with arthropods. He administered it into his body and it changed him. He could not only speak to insects and arachnids, but control them, he could use this new power to conquer the planet. He is now the mighty royalty of the insect world, the Emperor Termite.
