Origin[]
Kathryn is the daughter of a brilliant scientist who was experimenting with size alteration. She learned about a suit her father was making to alter ate the size of humans. It was designed to resemble a hummingbird, but it wasn't ready for testing. She decided to test it once it was finished and it seemed to be working properly, it allowed her to shrink to the size of a real hummingbird. She was capable of flying, blasting bolts of power and access her own computer in the helmet. She thought she could use this to discover new insects and all sorts of small creatures. Her father thought that she had the makings of a great hero, which she thought she could do along with her insect discovery idea. She decided to get training with some other young heroes to better teach how to fight crime. She has now become the tiny flying sprite of a heroine called Hummingbird.
