Muck is a mutant supervillain with powers over Sludge and muck.
History[]
At the age of 15, Muck was fooling around with his friends at an abandoned Test Facility. They were in the drag pipes, as they were called, the drag pipes were Radioactive dumps, and usually waste would go into them.
While the boys were skateboarding in the Drag pipes, the Drag pipes activated. The boys started to skate away. Four of the boys made it away, but Douglas was trapped as the doors in the pipes closed. Douglas went to the back door, pleading and yelling to his friends to get him out of there. They tried and tried, throwing their skateboards at the clear door, trying to lift it, but nothing worked. As they did this the pipe filled with a thick purple sludge. Douglas was drowned in it.
When Douglas awoke, he noticed the pipe was empty. He looked around, and saw corrosion everywhere. He got up, and the pipes collapsed. They had rusted. He looked around. He was fifteen when he was trapped, but when he woke up, he was 20 years into the future.
He looked at himself. He was a walking pile of muck. Douglas soon learned how to control his powers, and named himself, Muck. He was enraged at the world for not saving him from the pipe. He became a professional criminal. He did small time jobs for the most part, until he met Drake Slayte's old friend gone enemy, Victor Virgo. Victor used Muck like a toy, although he trained him in his powers and such, Victor was sending him on missions that he would have done. But Victor wouldn't get put in prison if caught. Muck. When Muck learned of this, he left Victor, but continued with bigtime crimes. He was being hunted down by the Fighting Five, a teenage supergroup conflicting with Slate, Rex, and other heroes.
Muck would be ready. He had the power of sludge with him. And would win against the group, or so he thought.
Powers[]
Muck has the ability to control all sludge in the area. Muck can grow to 4 meters and shapeshift into anyone he wants. But there is a downside. When facing extreme heat, such as a fire, or the summer, the shapeshifted body may melt. Muck can also change his voice to anyone he wants, and when doubled with his Shapeshifting power, can make for a legit impersonation. Muck can grow to any size he wants with large amounts of water, and with some small lakes, can grow to the size of 18 Meters, making a useful opponent for other size growers. Muck can take control of energy/element surrounded beings, as he did to the Fighting Five's leader, Burnflow, once. Muck can also solidify certain parts of his body, to any consistency, from that of just goop, like he usually is, or to a fleshy like form, with working muscles, or to a stone like form, for brutality. Muck can become as powerful as anyone he wants using water, but his weakness is fire or heat. With extreme heat contained in fires Muck can melt, but as stated above, in his shapeshifting form, can melt with 100 degree Fahrenheit and up weather.
Appearance[]
Though Muck can shapeshift to any size, shape, or appearance, Muck has a notorius and a most commonly used form.
Muck usually takes the embodyment of a lean looking, pile of purple sludge. Muck looks like a highly above average 35 year old man, with no visible facial features except large white eyes. Muck is very strong and lean, with the ability to change his body's consistency, this can increase his strength. The pile of purple sludge has visible muscles, although these are just for looks, because the real muscle is loacted within the consistency change. Muck has worked with many supervillains, and often teams up with water-based villains to increase his strength, size, and power. When exposed to this water, Muck grows up to 20 Meters, bigger and stronger than before. Muck's appearance is intimidating, and with his size change, becomes VERY menacing.
