When she was just a young girl, Huang was considered a strange child due to the fact of her being very secretive, but her family cared about her very much. She was secretive because of her powers to change into a predatory tiger-like cat and back to human or a mix of the two. She didn't want anyone to know about her abilities, in case people suspected her as some kind of monster. Her parents soon learned about her powers and found an offer that could benefit her. There was a school she could go to where she could learn to control her powers, she thought it was best she go. She learned how to control her animal side at school as well with some help from her grandmother. She learned to become one with the beast within her and even protect people as a hero. She is now Tiger Lily, the savage hero with a golden heart.
